February, 12th 2010:

On February, 12th 2010 ADVENAGE released version 2.6.10 of MNC Probe for Windows and Linux operating systems. The new version supports stateful SNMP notification via SNMP events on measurments failures and reporting of meassurement results via SNMP. With this release MNC probe supports monitoring of mobile data services (GSM and UMTS/HSDPA) with integration into HP BAC, HP SiteScope and HP Network Node Manager. Meet you at HP Communications World between Wednesday, December 16th and Friday, December 18th 2009 in Hamburg, Germany. During the HP Communications World you may get in direct touch with the latest versions of our probes. New products being presented in the scope of HP Communications World are the high density modem server with up to 8 GSM/UMTS/HSDPA modems modules in a single 1HU rack mounted box and SMS Gateway Router, an ADVENAGE product connection the SOA world with mobile telecommunications.

September, 21st 2009:

On September 21st 2009 ADVENAGE released version 1.2.0 of diald. Diald is used by MMS Probe and MNCP Probe to steer and manage IP access. The new version of diald provides two main advantages: Improved PDP context attach timings and full UNIX support. For customers using UMTS or HSDPA modems such as the HC25 from Cinterion, upgrading to diald version 1.2.0 is mandatory. Registered customers may checkout the new version from our web site.

June, 22nd 2009:

Today ADVENAGE released version 1.3.23 of MMS Probe and version 2.6.3 of SMS Probe. These releases are related to optimized support of Cinterion HC25 modem. Additional benefits relate to improvements in the Web management interface. Registered customers may checkout the new version from our web site.

June, 8th 2009:

Today ADVENAGE released version 1.3.22 of MMS Probe. This release offers optimized support for the Cinterion HC25 modem and anumber of additional features in the Web Management Interface of MMS Probe Server. The probe support reporting of metrics via CSV output, SNMP and XML. Version 1.3.22 is now availble for Linux as installable packge as well. Registered customers shall checkout the new version from our web site.

April, 22nd 2009:

Today ADVENAGE released version 2.6.2 of SMS Probe. This release offers optimized support for HP SiteScope, fixes and issue with the processing of acknowledgement PDUs with some particular operators and includes improced support for Cinterion HC25 modem. Registered customers shall checkout the new version from our web site.

March, 12th 2009:

ADVENAGE continues to support Linux as operating system for probes/monitors. Release 2.6.6 of Mobile Network Connectivity Probe (MNC-Probe) is availabe for Linux now as well. This new version is a small - but important - step in the complete development chain. Major updates on all probes/monitors for GSM and UMTS/HSDPA are expected for the coming weeks.

Febraury, 20th 2009:

Today ADVENAGE released a re-newed version 1.9 of IP Performance Service Daemon. This service daemon is being used as counterpart for measurement with IP Perfromance Plus Probe and a new IP Layer-2 Probe. The new release of IP Performance Service Daemon includes a new web management interface and SNMP integration. Registered customers shall checkout the new version from our web site.

January, 29th 2009:

Release 2.6.6 of Mobile Network Connectivity Probe is available. This release includes improved reporting capabilities and impoved support for Cinterion/Siemens HC25 (UMTS/HSDPA).

December, 2nd 2008:

Release 1.3.3 of MAPF Library is available. Main features are support for Cinterion/Siemens HC25 (UMTS/HSDPA) and a large number of minor impovements.

July, 10th 2008:

Multicast One Way Packet Delay Probe for IP Multicast network perfromance measurement Version 1.4 is available. New features are HP SiteScope support and improved processing of early PDU duplicates.

June, 24th 2008:

VoIP Probe Version 3.3.7 is available. New features are HP SiteScope support and support for new Voice Channel Adapters.

May, 26th 2008:

Voice Probe Version 2.5.5 is available. New feature is HP SiteScope support.

April, 18th 2008:

SMS Probe Version 2.6 is available. New features are HP SiteScope support and support for the Siemens HC-25 modem (UMTS/HSDPA).

April, 9th 2008:

IP Performance Plus Probe Version 1.1.1 is available for download for registered customers. This version is a bug fix release of IP Performance Plus Probe and is available for Windows 2K, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Debian Linux and SUSE Linux. All registered customers are encouraged to upgrade to Version 1.1.1 of IP Performance Plus Probe.

March, 31st 2008:

New versions of SMS Plus Probe and Voice Probe are available from the ADVENAGE website. Version 2.5.2 of SMS Plus Probe and version 2.5.3 of Voice Probe are bug fix releases and are based on updated bye libraries. All registered customers are encouraged to upgrade to new versions of SMS Plus Probe and Voice Probe.

February, 24th 2008:

Today ADVENAGE relased version 1.3.14 of MMS Probe. MMS Probe version 1.3.14 now supports HP SiteScope. A brief description of integration features can be found in the product description section of ADVENAGE website.

February, 18th 2008:

Today ADVENAGE announced general availability of VoIP Probe Version 3.3.0. This version is based on a new SIP stack which allows a number of new deployment scenarios. But also the H.323 part was updated. Apart from a large number of feature upgrades, this version allows for testing of H.323 originated calls to SIP subscribers and vice versa. It supports registration less call initiation and call termination. And its also includes support for new PESQ library versions.

January, 15th 2008:

IP Performance Plus Probe Version 1.1.0 passed acceptance testing and is available for download from the ADVENAGE website. IP Performance Plus Probe Version 1.1.0 allows to define particular host interfaces, includes a new set of documentation, provides improved handling of duplicated and reordered PDUs and benefits from a general update of base libraries.

Today ADVENAGE announced general availability of version 1.2.3 of MMS Probe, version 0.6 of IMPS Probe, version 0.9 of Multicast Probe, version 1.0.1 of Multcast Reference Sender and version 3.3.1 of VoIP Probe.

September, 17th 2007:

Today ADVENAGE announced general availability of version 1.0.1 of IP Performance Plus Probes for HP OpenView Internet Services 6.2.
Version 1.0.1 of IP Performance Plus Probes for HP OpenView Internet Servcies is a maintenance release. It provides improved IP TOS functionality and general performance updates.

August, 30th 2007:

Today ADVENAGE announced general compliance of all probe products with HP OpenView Internet Services 6.2.
After a long and detailed convergence checking period all existing probe products passed the compliance check with HP OpenView Internet Services Version 6.2.

April, 24th 2007:

Today ADVENAGE announced general availability for their latest product for professional SLA management in TCP/IP networks.
IP Performance Plus Probe is an active end-to-end monitoring tool for quality parameters in TCP/IP based networks. It enables network operators, Internet service providers and corporate users with own network infrastructure to monitor SLA relevant quality parameters of IP based telecommunications. IP Performance Plus Probe provides seamless integration with HP OpenView Internet Services.
IP Performance Plus Probe determines fundamental TCP/IP key performance indicators like packet round trip time, one way packet delay, jitter, packet loss rate and packet sequence failure rate in regular intervals. Additionally the probe supports measurement of data transmission rates according to the SI norm for SLA conformance reporting purposes. The majority of parameters are measured for up- and downstream separately. Especially for ADSL, VDSL, Cable-TV and UMTS based connections this is an important feature.
IP Performance Plus Probe supports usage of dynamic IP addresses, NAT/PAT, IP TOS and varying traffic classes in MPLS based networks.
Seamless integration with HP OpenView Internet Services ensures straightforward configuration and management of measurements. OpenView stores measurement results and provides graphical presentment. Violation of service level objectives and service level agreements is determined immediately and enables instant reaction by according alarming. IP Performance Plus Probe supports the HP OpenView Internet Services platforms Windows and Linux. Support for other UNIX variants is available on demand. Integration with Business Availability Center from HP is in preparation.

Patch-day at ADVENAGE: During February 2007 we updated our probe products for HP OVIS: SMS+ Probe Version 2.5.0, Voice Probe Version 2.5.1, VoIP Probe Version 3.2.1, MAPF Version 1.3.0, and MNC Probe Version 2.6.2.
New probe version include improved WAP stack, overall improvements in base libraries, and (for GSM Probes) support for additional modem types. Registered customers of the Probes are encouraged to upgrade and can download the most current versions of the from the ADVENAGE Probe download area.

Today ADVENAGE announces the availability of a UNIX based Version of VoIP Probe for HP OVIS. The UNIX version of VoIP Probe is currently running on SUSE Linux and DEBIAN Linux with Linux Kernels 2.4 and 2.6. Versions for other UNIX operating systems can be provided on demand.

November, 16th 2006:

Today ADVENAGE released new versions of almost all ADVENAGE probe products for HP OVIS: SMS Probe Version 2.4.6, Voice Probe Version 2.4.6, VoIP Probe Version 3.1.3, MAPF Version 1.2.7, and MNC Probe V 2.6.1.
New probe version include improved WAP support, even better integration into HP OVIS 6.x and some smaller improvements. Registered customers of the Probes are encouraged to upgrade and can download the most current versions of the from the ADVENAGE Probe download area.

July, 21st 2006:

Today VoIP Probe for HP OpenView Internet Services from ADVENAGE passed HP OpenView Interoperability Testing. VoIP Probe for HP OpenView Internet Services is the second ADVENAGE product that has passed the HP OpenView Interoperability Test and will be added to the Integrated Solution Catalog for HP OpenView soon.

June, 23rd 2006:

Today ADVENAGE announced the availability of a new release of their Voice over IP Probe (VoIP Probe) for HP OVIS. Really new with this release (V 3.1) is optional support of speech quality estimation via Mean Opinion Score (MOS). The MOS value is calculated based on the Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality algorithm (PESQ).

June, 19th 2006:

Maintenance releases of the all major mobile telecommunications probes are available: MMS Probe V 1.3.7, SMS+ Probe V 2.4.5, Voice Probe V 2.4.4, and MNC Probe V 2.5.0.
Apart from a number of minor improvements, the Probes include improved WAP support and allow tightened probe scheduling. Registered customers of the Probes are encouraged to upgrade and can download the most current versions of the from the ADVENAGE Probe download area.

June, 14th 2006:

ADVENAGE today announced it's partnership with IP Systems GmbH, a Germany based consulting company for telecommunications and IT.
IP Systems became official Sales Partner for performance management solutions and products from ADVENAGE.

April, 26th 2006:

ADVENAGE has joined the HP Enterprise Management Alliance program as a Gold Business Partner today. MMS Probe for HP OpenView Internet Services is the first ADVENAGE product that has passed the HP OpenView interoperability test and has been accepted for the Integrated Solution Catalog for HP OpenView. "Teaming up with HP in the Enterprise Management Alliance program is an important step for us." said Alexander von Berg, Managing Director of ADVENAGE. "This partnership enables us to further improve the integration of our products into HP OpenView for the benefit of our customers."

March, 7th 2006:

Today ADVENAGE announced the availability of their most current and amazing probe product: The Voice over IP Probe (VoIP Probe). Voice over IP Probe extends HP OpenView Internet Services with testing and monitoring capabilities for Voice over IP services and PSTN services in IP and PSTN networks by initiating voice calls from and to VoIP or PSTN in any combination.

February, 7th 2006:

Today ADVENAGE announced a successful re-launch of all OVIS probes for Mobile Network Operators supporting CSD/BS26, GPRS or UMTS data transfer. The new versions of Mobile Network Connectivity Probe, MMS Probe, and the MAPF Foundation libraries include a large number of small improvements and even better robustness, also under very difficult frame conditions.
Lutz Grüneberg, Managing Director of ADVENAGE states: "Currently we are rolling out the new versions of the probes to selected customers. In March 2006 we will supply the new versions to all other customers."

February, 1st 2006:

Today Alexander von Berg joined ADVENAGE in the role of a Managing Director.
Alexander von Berg is working for a long time in the Telecommunications segment and brings in a additional managing experience of IT project.

December, 12th 2005:

ADVENAGE decided to introduce the newly developed "DialD" technology to all existing HP OVIS probes by ADVENAGE. At first "DialD" will be available with the MobNetCon Probe from ADVENAGE and the MAPF product from EPS Limited in UK. "Diald" helps reducing probe execution time and can be used to avoid time gaps between probe runs. This allows executing more end-to-end tests in the same time interval.
ADVENAGE expects to launch MobNetCon Probe Version 2.4 with "DialD" technology in January 2006.

October, 13th 2005:

Today ADVENAGE overtook all software rights and service commitments for HP OVIS Probes for Mobile Network Operators from IP Systems GmbH. Wolfgang Krafczyk, Managing Director of IP Systems states "This shift helps IP Systems to concentrate on our core business. We will work closely together with ADVENAGE also in the future. Existing customers of HP OVIS Probes for Mobile Network Operators will receive first class support from ADVENAGE."
